1. Choose your applications and services: Select Mercent Retail applications and Mercent Performance value-added services to ensure you meet your retail goals.
2. Get connected: The Mercent Technical Services team works closely with your IT and Marketing teams during integration, setting up data feeds between your back end systems and the Mercent Retail platform, and providing initial optimization of your product data for your target channels. For retailers already using Omniture or Coremetrics tracking tags, the integration process is even easier. Mercent’s expertise with feed integrations ensures your information will be timely, accurate and complete - a vital necessity for gaining long-term success in online channels. 
   
   Once your integration with Mercent Retail is complete, product and order data is transmitted between you and all your online channels through Mercent Retail. Additional new channels are easy to set up from Mercent Retail, removing the workload from your IT team.
3. Get insight: Mercent Retail collects sales, conversion and ad spend information from online marketing channels and combines it with the retail operational data from your own back-end retail systems including per-product cost of goods sold (COGS) and average inventory values. Mercent Retail provides rich reports, graphs and charts on sales, return on ad spend, customer profitability and other key performance indicators (KPIs) – all fully customizable to reflect the metrics that matter to your business. Hardcore data fans can export Mercent Retail reports to perform additional analyses.
4. Get optimized: Use insight gained from Mercent Retail’s analytic reports to quickly and easily optimize performance using features like automated filters that adjust the product assortment in each channel based on inventory levels or performance metrics. Make changes to individual products or ads, or make changes at the category or channel levels.
